SACS NI Region is pleased with the announcement that Foymore Lodge Country Pursuits Centre will be the venue for Association shooting courses. This purpose built facility in County Armagh is widely recognised as the finest clay pigeon facility in Northern Ireland.  The four shooting instructors at the venue are all qualified under the Scottish Clay Target Association and, coincidently, they are all SACS members!

The new SACS Shotgun Safety Courses will be held at Foymore as will a number of other Regional activities, all of which will be publicised here and in the SACS Quarterly Magazine.  Open to all SACS members over the age of eighteen, the course will include shotgun safety, range finding, field shooting, quarry recognition and practical shooting sessions.  There will be a written test at the end of the course leading to a Shotgun Safety Certificate and badge.

We encourage SACS members to support the team at Foymore who have built up a superb facility there, catering for shooters of all levels.  Beginners are particularly welcome although it is best to ring to book if tuition is needed.  The Foymore website is located at www.foymorelodge.com
